SPEAKER_01

Last time at the Good Good Table. So Ogin is in the midst of the Bloomerite Festival. Yay! Usually one or more of you are asked to dance. Even you, Dalos. By Acne, look at you. Would you mind doing me the honor of a dance? You will run into Dromash. Hey! Little tip. Uh, if you wanted to get any paperwork done at the lantern hall, now would be the time to do it. Oh, if it isn't the the heroes of Haven Wodge.

SPEAKER_02

We are going to register our free company name.

SPEAKER_01

We would like to be known as the Hearth Guard. I received word from the governor that one of the manors in the northern part of the city has been made available to you. It seems to me this would be a fantastic chapter house. This looks to have been a pretty wealthy family's house. Inside, you see an uh an older gentleman.

SPEAKER_07

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to welcome you to your new home, Zervin Manor. I am Ignacio at your service. The chef will arrive with the rest of the staff in the morning, but I would be delighted to prepare a selection of tiny cakes and sandwiches to accompany your tea at Zervin Manor.

SPEAKER_01

This is the way we do it. Blue net. Yes. You catch sight of something out of the corner of your eye. That could that could probably be fi. I'm gonna climb out the window.

SPEAKER_05

Fi! I don't know you! This is bullshit! Yes you do! Nope, I nope! You're not real grandpa sundowning, oh god!

SPEAKER_01

There's this there's this tower, the tower of Lemera. He will run through an arch there at the base of the tower. Ma'am, ma'am, it's it's authorized personnel only as this arch. The following morning, you wake up to the sound of bells in the ceiling. In the ceiling? In the ceiling? In the city. Yeah, you you head on over to Ash Mantle Forge. Are you are you here to pick up your weapons?

SPEAKER_04

No, no, not necessarily.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, it'll take some time. Excellent. So you walk out of Ash Manal Forge and two bells start ringing.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, unfortunately there's not like material weapons around. But you looking for armor, uh, you come across Goli Brothers weapons and armor. Can I help you? And the other one's like, no, no, she's talking to me. I just like kind of like pull the chain out. I need something better than this. What do you have? I was from you're talking to me! And he punches him in the gut. You all get back to the lantern hall, and you you can see lanterns from pretty much all over the city kind of filing in. First, there have been confirmed sightings of a substantial horde of undead east of the city. Secondly, there have been unconfirmed sightings of a death knight in the area. Kuodaraj, the Crimson Main, formerly known as Centurion Darius Tanelli of the 8th Imperial Legion. If previous encounters are any indication, we should be prepared for a siege. It's only two hours into that that the bells begin to ring in threes. And everyone in the city freezes. Then, from over the wall, drums and the sound of war horns can be heard. Now it'll take a minute, but you can get up to the battlements and see what's going on. Yep. You're seeing not a shambling horde uh raid before the wall of Hogan, but a legion of undead soldiers. And at its center stands Kuo Garage. He's glaring at you. What he will do is hold one of his massive cleaving blades up into the air, and when he brings it down, the speed will get it.

SPEAKER_07

I'll be your DM and your host. There's also other people here. Who are you? Hello, who am I? Who are you? That's Elizabeth. Hey! You play a person.

SPEAKER_00

I play Daelos.

SPEAKER_01

Hey! Jen, who do you play?

SPEAKER_02

Genova Springkeeper.

SPEAKER_01

Heck yeah! Courtney, who do you play?

SPEAKER_02

I play Lunette Viruli.

SPEAKER_01

Excellent. I didn't actually know that was your character's last name. It's literally the first time I've heard it out loud. That's amazing.

SPEAKER_02

Father helped.

SPEAKER_01

Brandon! Who do you play? I played. Your god. Venaria Fidelis. Yay! Good choice of words for the paladin.

unknown

Woo!

SPEAKER_01

Last time we ended with Kuo Daraj starting the Siege of Ogin. So I have I have not told the players anything about what's about to happen, and now I'm about to ambush them with this thing that I've pulled from another system.

SPEAKER_02

Joy Misery and War.

SPEAKER_01

Like the tower we're in explodes. So if you are at all familiar with a system called uh Blades in the Dark by John Harper. There is a system there is a system that they like to use in there for dealing with conflicts and things like that where they set up clocks. And basically what we're gonna have is two six-segment clocks. And we're going to have events where you all use your brains to come up with creative solutions to problems. And then we're all collectively going to judge if these are risky, if they are if they are dangerous. I was gonna say, we need we need some like who wants to be a millionaire music for the case. So once we have figured that out, then we will find out how well you did.

SPEAKER_04

Because this is going to be basically deciding if the siege breaks the city, or if you all If we lose the nice house that we just got, if Ignacio is sad forever, if several thousand people died, right?

SPEAKER_01

The house seems like all of my remaining family, like what the fuck? Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So also my grandpa.

SPEAKER_01

Hopefully your your solutions are creative enough to prevent the death of all these fine people. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Including ourselves.

SPEAKER_01

So I'm going to set up this clock here. So yes, we've got our two clocks here, each with six segments. We will go through here and decide how your solutions affect us. It will either fill up the the one for the city.

SPEAKER_04

Do we want ours to fill or do we not want ours to fill?

SPEAKER_01

We we you want the one for Kuo Doraj. Yes, you want this one to fill. You don't want you don't want the cities to fill, because that means that the city burns.

SPEAKER_02

Is it golf or is it a race?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we're going for the water. I'm not really sure how your what you said relates at all to what the reality is.

SPEAKER_04

Are we racing to the end of the chart? Or is it we get more points? Or is it like golf where we need the least amount of golf? Gotcha, yes. No, this is like presence. This is like golf racing.

SPEAKER_01

You you want you don't want to get there first.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. Like, is it is it full or is it empty?

SPEAKER_01

I feel like we need to like before we even start the clock, is like just get out of the tower and be like, do we have siege weapons or shit? Like, I think we'll basically I'm going to present you with a problem.

SPEAKER_06

Yay. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And then the goal there is to come up with a solution for the problem. So yeah, like here right at the beginning, you know, that basically the undead legion are starting their attack, but of course there's walls, so they have to break it first. So we will get started with the Siege of Oaken. With the the first siege event. Alright, so the city now has runners kind of going back and forth, you know, delivering messages to make sure that all the different like towers are coordinating and the defense is is coordinating properly. The problem that we're running into initially is that the the runners meant for the Bastion Tower up by the governor's mansion and and the city guard barracks, they they haven't they haven't been arriving. And they're at a point where they're considering whether or not they need to withdraw from the tower.

SPEAKER_02

Uh where are the runners running to again?

SPEAKER_01

They are running kind of all over the city. They're going from like various distribution centers and taking things where they need to go, or they're delivering messages.

SPEAKER_02

And the ones specifically meant to come to the Bastion Tower aren't showing up.

SPEAKER_01

Correct.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

They have failed to arrive.

SPEAKER_02

I can offer or maybe you should, uh Jenova, maybe you should offer to like turn into like a horse or a deer or something and see if you can scoot over to the supply system and see what happens.

SPEAKER_01

Or just summon something that can fly. Because I mean the your like Honduran animals lasts for an hour. So you could you could summon like two messenger pigeons.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

How long do these last? They'll last 10 minutes. Yeah, because that's that's gonna be kind of the problem, is like that will make a nice patch, but it needs to be sustained. Well, yeah, I was gonna say that this is the initial, like, get them the supplies, and then while we physically go to the tower.

SPEAKER_04

To find out what's stopping them from getting rid of the tower.

SPEAKER_01

So you're gonna do like a direct investigation at the tower and patching over, you're gonna like get some kind of immediate like messenger pigeon pigeons kind of stuff.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

So the goal is to try and find the solution whilst patching it. Well it's weird that there are all of these messengers running around, but only the ones to the bastion tower.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that implies that some some something is fucked up somewhere.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. So I think we should go, we should go to I think we should go to the tower and uh while those like if you do the messenger pigeon idea, that at the very least can shore up communication gaps while we're like we actively need to figure out what the fuck is going on.

SPEAKER_07

There you go.

SPEAKER_02

Excellent. Do we know where the main uh uh runner organization is, like where the who's organizing the runners?

SPEAKER_01

There is a distribution center towards the center of town, um and then some of the like smaller satellite ones.

SPEAKER_04

In theory, we could have you send out the pigeons and go to the west side of the city. But then one of us stays in the east side, one of us goes to the north side, one of us goes to the w the south side, and then whoever goes to the north side investigates what's happening to the runners, and since we're going to be passing through the central to get to the south side, that person can investigate what's happening at the runners sanctuary, basically.

SPEAKER_01

Um like one at the distribution center, one at the bastion tower.

SPEAKER_04

One at where the problem is, one at where the problem isn't yet, one at where the really big issue is.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's the problem. That's good. Yeah, because I was like, if you just go to the tower, they're gonna go, well, we're not getting the runners. Exactly.

SPEAKER_02

So I was like, but having someone at the tower and someone at the distribution center lets us communicate to both of them. Yes. And that way, if somewhere like, hey, I have sent runners, I am coming with the runners, and then it's like, oh, I found out what that problem is.

SPEAKER_01

Cool. So yeah, you gotta go to point A, point B, have like actual coordinated communication.

SPEAKER_04

Since we can communicate much more effectively than the lantern pins, we can spread out and act as our own communication. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

So is this just the plan we're going with?

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

And we're all communicating. So yeah, because that would put Daelos closer to the lantern problem.

SPEAKER_01

So effectiveness of this plan is on a range from poor. Uh it goes poor, standard, strong, or exceptional. Um, what do we what do we feel like on this? This this seems like a pretty strong plan. I don't know if I'd say exceptional, but for like dealing with a sudden problem. I was gonna say, I think the main point of strength on it is that we have our communication network so that for the next problem. Well, either for the next problem or if we get complications. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it's like I think I think the communication really helps mitigate like sudden issues. So I'd I'd say this is a strong plan. Um with with your communication, the way you're doing it, I'd say um on coordination, it's ought to range from disorganized, functional, strong, or excellent. Um, I'd I'd say I'd say strong. Um, I'd I'm not sure how you'd get to excellent from here, but I feel like there needs to be like an upper level. I could also say excellent as if we only could cast Roy's telepathic bond. Yeah, yeah. So double up. Um, but so those two together are gonna give you plus four on your roll. I'd say there's a there's a risk on here, which basically guides what the consequences are gonna be. Yeah. That goes low, medium, high, or desperate. If you wanted to go for a desperate plan, just so you know ahead of time, it will give you plus two to your roll, but there it it it leaves the potential for major bad consequences.

SPEAKER_03

The backlash.

SPEAKER_01

So it's like one of those things where it's like if you if you need to, you know, it could ri it could give you a good result.

SPEAKER_02

It's your last Hail Mary.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, yeah. So. Anyway, with these two, I'd say we're looking at strong. Strong. So plus four. So somebody roll a 1D20. On the center of the city.

SPEAKER_04

I have not had great. I I vote Venario.

SPEAKER_01

I've been I've been okay. Um I'll use my DM dice if nobody volunteers. What do we got? Uh that is a four.

SPEAKER_02

Oh fuck.

SPEAKER_01

Oh no, plus four. So you end up with eight. Okay, so that's that's not the worst. It is a mixed or a stalemate.

SPEAKER_04

Uh so we we mitigate it's not actively being destroyed, but it's not fixed.

SPEAKER_01

You get this going like uh Genova, you summon your your pigeons, and they're pretty good. The problem is they haven't been really programmed for their homing part super great, so they're getting lost a little bit, but they're they're doing the job.

SPEAKER_00

Um They're making it where they don't abandon their post. Yeah. I have to do my my pigeon call.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so I mean, I I would say you all you all handled it pretty well. Um, it's it doesn't advance either clock. Okay. Uh, because you're basically keeping it from being an issue, but you didn't really make it a whole lot better. Okay, that's fine. You just you just kept it from getting worse. Like, okay, wait, here's here's the issue. Like at the distribution center where you go to talk to them, they're they're like, oh shit, we didn't realize there was this other pile that we need to be mixing in. So you you got the person onto the right pile and now the orders are going out properly. Alright, well, good, good job.

SPEAKER_04

Good job handling the the But now we're prepped for the next one, so we're more organized for the next one. Yeah. So maybe we're at exploration.

SPEAKER_01

So okay, so we are now split up. We're at like kind of four corn or like four points on the compass. Okay. Or do we come well that's the thing. Did that happen? Did we come back together after that? That's up to you.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, we can communicate without coming back together.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah, this is this is not on like a turn base other than like we are dealing with one situation at a time. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

And it lets us kind of see all of the parts of the city rather than like having the same thing happen where we go, where the fuck is this?

SPEAKER_01

And the ever and everyone goes, uh Okay, so the next thing up is there are reports of dead rising in the parade yard. Oh, down close to where you are now. Yeah. Right next to you. Yeah, these are these are not like big nasties, but there's like just just zombies rising up out of the parade yard. I'm gonna let immediately let everybody know and then notify like whichever like city guard are around me. And I'm essentially just like, follow me, let's go clear us out. There you go.

SPEAKER_04

Wonderful. I mean, I feel as though we cannot help that much unless we're running across the town.

SPEAKER_01

Well, and if it's and if it's minor undead, I mean if every if everybody in the city guard's been trained to handle some shit like this, like which I feel can be. Yeah, regular ass little undead, they're they're totally. Yeah, we're not we're not throwing you know stereotypical city guard at this. Yeah. It's it's not like like a breach in the wall, it's just like the kind of local command level undead is causing some like corpses to show up here and there. Um this I mean this this seems like a standard approach to dealing with just zombies showing up. So um I'd say a standard effect on this. That's unreasonable, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

But we're organized. Yep.

SPEAKER_01

You you are pretty well coordinated. I'd say you're gonna like hang on to that strong coordination from last time. So you're gonna get a a plus two on this roll, whoever wants to roll. 1d20. I would act okay, just before you roll though, I would say there is a medium risk on this. Is you know, in any time you're dealing with an enemy, there's a little bit of risk. So um it doesn't change your role at all. It just means the the consequences might be a little higher.

SPEAKER_02

Do you want to roll or do you want me to roll? I don't know. I'm just gonna roll. Is there anybody?

SPEAKER_01

Okay, is there anybody else that I should notify? I mean, you notified like the city guard, and then there's like local lanterns. Yeah, I mean that's that's pretty much it. That's that is the standard procedure, is like, hey, people nearby, because you don't want to pull people from like the other side of the city when it's just a very local small issue. Um converge on my position. So yeah, so plus two to the d20. Jesus. We rolled a four again. No, it's a four. It's a four. So actually that's worse. So on a seven, um, that's actually the going to advance our clock. Yeah, we're going to advance the city's clock.

SPEAKER_04

We're so fucked. We're playing on to lose now. I don't even know how to do better on that.

SPEAKER_01

Well, that's the thing. I don't know what we could else we could have done in this situation because it's like we called and we had to, I went to go take care of it.

SPEAKER_04

You can't teleport to you. If I could, I could use a chant.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, you're only people, you can't control everything. Sometimes an entire city worth of issue, you know, will get away from you. So, you yeah, you you get this response going and the city guards show up, but they've got some like real green recruits over here. So the city guard really is not helpful. They end up actually falling a few of them. Yeah. So it's like though, yeah, you do you do knock out the zombies, but the local populace is feeling the strain, and there there is like a sense of like, oh no, like the problem is inside the walls now. So it's kind of freaked people out. I just try to Okay, can I in in the midst of this, could I do like a trying to do like an inspiring speech thing to like get them back on? Or I mean Is it too late because the show is like a little bit of a little bit of a clock, yeah, the clock's already happened. This is already like incorporating all that, yeah. But feel free to RP any speeches you want. I feel like just realizing that is just that because I think everything that's been set up for Venaria up until this point is that like these are people who've been through the shit. They are aware of what to do in the situation, so seeing people genuinely have no fucking clue is like doubly pissing her off. The last 20 years have been this. Well, the people in the city have had a bit have had basically peace for a time period. The city guard, also being part of the city, have known peace for a long time. So they're not where they do know of these. And you're right next to the city guard, they haven't had dealt with them in the world.

SPEAKER_04

So it's like all the green beans who have never really done it. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, so that that was the problem.

SPEAKER_01

Other parts of the city, the city guard are dealing with just fine. These particular ones, they were like the ones that they were leaving at the barracks, because like we don't want you to get killed, but you're the only ones nearby. So, okay, so for the next siege event, a group of heavy revenants has reached the threshold gate. That's the one in the front there. Um This one? Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Next to meant. Oh.

SPEAKER_01

Uh, and they are carrying an improvised impact beam, and they are striking the same hinge on one of the gate supports over and over again.

SPEAKER_06

Yay.

SPEAKER_01

If we don't deal with that, the support splinters for the gate will start splintering.

SPEAKER_02

I using the bracer, I want to transmit this information to everybody. Uh I'm trying to think like what in this situation we could do. Someone help, I am not a strategist.

SPEAKER_01

Well, don't think of it as strategy. Think of it as you have a problem.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. I know.

SPEAKER_01

What tools do you have at your disposal?

SPEAKER_04

Uh so what is the weapon made of? Is it a bigger way?

SPEAKER_01

They basically like, yeah, they they basically like grabbed a tree.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Like a couple of tree trunks, hacked off the limbs, and are using that.

SPEAKER_04

And and these revenants are of like comparable tricks.

SPEAKER_01

They're s physically large, but I wouldn't say that they're like particularly nasty on dead. They're just big guys because they need to carry a tree.

SPEAKER_00

So they're banging at the the hinge of the gate?

SPEAKER_01

They're using it like a battering ram, yeah. They're banging on like the supports for the gate.

SPEAKER_04

Never before have I felt more limited as a cleric with single-range targets of bone.

SPEAKER_02

Right? Like, is there a lot of things?

SPEAKER_01

Why would I choose light domain?

SPEAKER_02

Like, can we try and like set the beam on fire? But then, like, that might not be very.

SPEAKER_01

My answer to any of your questions, can we, is yes. But it's also going to be followed with how.

SPEAKER_02

I know, I'm thinking.

SPEAKER_01

Um Do they have like what we consider like standard medieval like like pots of boiling oil situation at these gates? Yeah. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

They have anti-siege weaponry.

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

Genova speaks into her bracer. Would it help if I head that way and shape shift?

SPEAKER_01

Look at that dedication. She's got her arm up like she's actually talking into her bracer. I love that.

SPEAKER_00

I love that shapeshift into an elephant and provide support against the battering ram.

SPEAKER_01

Well, okay. And then it's a good one. If you can direct that you can handle this whole thing, I feel like, because if you get up there, you direct your wildfire spirit, so you kind of like ready his little fire seed, you yell at the gate guards to dump the oil, Fritter throws his little seed, whole thing goes up, and then they're burning in the midst of everything.

SPEAKER_04

No we're we're creating.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Okay, so you just what are you what are you doing?

SPEAKER_02

Okay. I'm gonna direct the people, I'm gonna let them know I'm like, hey, I've got the druid on the way. Get the coordination going. Yep, I've got the druid on the way. This is what's gonna happen. She's gonna support the door from the back end from our side. I need you guys on the mark to get ready to pour that down there. And if anybody in uh there will be a little guy. A little flaming guy. Yeah, there will be a little guy. Don't shoot.

SPEAKER_01

The guards are like, okay. Little flaming weasel creature. Little flaming weasel, yes, we do yes. Yes, ma'am!

SPEAKER_02

That's what I thought.

SPEAKER_01

Alright. They're all just kind of looking at each other, like, okay.

SPEAKER_02

And uh please send word to other places that we have a battering ramp.

SPEAKER_01

There you go. Okay, so we've got Jenova is going to turn into what?

SPEAKER_00

I'm shapeshifting into an elephant.

SPEAKER_01

You're shapeshifting into an elephant. Yeah. Propping up the door. And then Lunette.

SPEAKER_02

I am communicating with everybody, uh, like making sure that everybody knows everything. Because I'm not the one starting the fire. Fritter is.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, Frit Fritter is then starting the fire. You are holding up the gate, and then Fritter elsewhere is going to be starting the fire. Yes. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

So when Fritter Brandon scurries up the thing, I'm gonna be like this.

SPEAKER_04

I feel like I need to be more centrally located so I can help. I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like like y'all are y'all are kind of spread out, and I feel like like that's good for if you were the only people who are defending the city. But you're not. You're dealing with isolated incidents. So like you can be spread out, but it's not gonna take you time to go to where the issues are.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

Um, I would like to move towards the center of the city where the like supply routes and stuff are. Um just so that I'm more centrally located.

SPEAKER_02

There you go. Can you send more uh boil more like oil supply and communicate through to them about whether or not how their oil is currently being used and what they need to be able to do?

SPEAKER_01

Like, hey, they're about to use a whole pot of boiling oil, maybe you should send some more oil.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, yes.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, okay, good. Brandon? Uh well, okay, since I have a war horse, I have the mobility. Yeah. I can I can respond to whatever wherever in the city. So I think I will stay near the bastion. Okay. And then just respond to Alright. My war horse's name is Penelope. Yeah. Okay, so I would I would say this is this is this is a pretty strong, this is a pretty strong plan. Um so that would be a plus two there. Uh coordination. Also pretty strong. I do I do think it would be cool if Dalos could be there as like backup gate support, but that's just enjoying the mental image.

SPEAKER_04

Dalos channels divinity determined.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I was I was imagining Dalos with like like being like the person at base camp with the headset on, where they're like, Alright, now we're gonna over there.

SPEAKER_07

Now take that down, and we make sure we get boots on the ground over there.

SPEAKER_01

But he's doing this while standing stock still, like in the sentinel mode. Excellent. Okay, so total that's going to be a plus four. I would say they're well, it's not a high risk, because it's not you're not like fritter, nobody's actually like directly engaging these things. It's more that if it fucks up, if it does not actually stop the rim, then Oh, or if the oil falls like the wrong way. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that could be.

SPEAKER_04

But they have but they have I'm assuming if they have anti-siege weaponry, the oil can't fall the wrong way.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's going through stone. The way the the way the No, yeah, absolutely. But like, say, you know, there was something on the track, the pot falls the wrong direction.

SPEAKER_04

Like it doesn't fall on them.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like what if the oil fall on the battlements? Yeah, not necessarily.

SPEAKER_03

But like, those pots are like like state they can't. They're on racks with little They can't, like, m- They don't slide back and forth.

SPEAKER_01

So in in physics, just because something has a low chance of happening, doesn't mean that it can't happen?

SPEAKER_03

Well, you're right, but it's it defeats the point of anti-specific.

SPEAKER_02

I'm just I'm just asking a simple question. We got argued out of our strong, so now we need to argue back into the strong.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You have a strong, effective plan, you got some strong coordination. Let's go's a little risky. So Lunette needs to go up there and like keep the arcane hand on the pot of boiling oil just to make sure it does it actually does what it's supposed to do. Just what you want to do. I mean, just if nothing else, just take the variable out of it. Plus, that way you get splashed with boil with boiling oil, it's that arm.

SPEAKER_05

So I was about to say.

SPEAKER_01

That's true, yeah. It's like you're you're just you're sticking your metal arm in the fryer.

SPEAKER_02

The one that still has touch, dude.

SPEAKER_01

No, yeah, we will we will we we can we can bring that down to medium risk.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Uh so you get plus four to your roll.

SPEAKER_04

I think one of you two should roll because you're the most directly involved.

SPEAKER_01

I think everybody should roll at least once. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

You want me to?

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Alright, roll it in the middle.

SPEAKER_02

I'm not even using my dice.

SPEAKER_01

I'm just saying, roll it over here, just throw it over here.

SPEAKER_02

Fuck this, I won't play this game no more. Oh no. No, now do you see what you did?

SPEAKER_00

Okay, okay, I'm gonna grab it.

SPEAKER_02

Do you see what you did?

SPEAKER_01

It is an 18. Heyy, let's go. 22. Alright, that is on.

SPEAKER_02

And that's what you get for doubting me.

SPEAKER_01

That is not the absolute best, but that is just shy. That is just shy of it. Like you like for the best result, you need a 19 or 20. Or better. Um, okay, very cool. So that will fill up one clock, one segment on the cool daraus clock. Hey, so now we're even. One on one. So it's gonna be the next 15 sessions just trying to fit. Well, it is possible if you got a 19 or 20, it would fill up two segments.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, two.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and like depending on how you do it, it's you know, it's not just a static thing. You got a 22 total? Yeah. Oh no, then that is two. That's why I didn't. Okay. No, I did it. I was doing my math wrong and I was like, oh, that's just an 18. I forgot. Yes. So that does fill.

SPEAKER_04

Your strong effective plan deserves a.

SPEAKER_01

No, you your plan goes off without a hitch. It really falls the direction it's supposed to. Fritter, yeah, like does one of those like like volleyball, like out of high cue, like goes up and just like slams it down. Venar or not Venaria. Uh Genova spikes it exactly where it's supposed to be, and he knows where it is, and he smacks it down. You you ignite the oil, and yeah, the the big nasty guy down there with the tree trunk. They drop the tree trunk. They drop the tree trunk and run. Yeah, get the f they're like, oh, this sucks! And they run.

SPEAKER_02

Get the fuck off my property.

SPEAKER_01

Excellent, well done. Yeah, yeah. Lunette Lunette pulling a get off my lawn. Six. Six. See, you see, it's not so bad. So, next up. The death knight does a pulls a like six. Everyone dies.

SPEAKER_03

The death knight cuts down the doors to the city. This is a good one.

SPEAKER_01

So, a fire has broken out in a storage structure near Ashwood Tower over by the crematorium in the in the cathedral and so you were. Uh containing burial cloth, oil, and ash barrels. Ah, so if it spreads, it will destroy quarantine supplies and create chaos near corpse handling lanes.

SPEAKER_06

That's not good.

SPEAKER_01

So, your immediate problem is you need to put out the fire, contain it, or evacuate the flammable materials fast enough to keep the cremation yards operational. Because this is part of what helps keep zombies from just piling up in the city. Cremation is a reality of postfall. Okay, I'm gonna immediately just like gallop toward uh Ashwood Tower from the Bastion. Um So Venaria books it on Penelope to do what? Um really just getting like reconnoitering first. Just like we see the you can see the fire, um, and alerting people that are nearby.

SPEAKER_06

Where's the nearest fire? Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Where's the nearest wells, get a bear get a bucket train started now, get any mages or clerics that can do any like summon water, create a few.

SPEAKER_01

I've seen a line. Um just trying to get the locals organized and then I feel as though I cannot help much over there.

SPEAKER_04

I have nothing to deal with fire. But what I'm planning on doing is I can send more runners that direction to help get just bodies to get stuff out before it happens. Aka people who can run faster than me and farther than me. Since since I'm in the center.

SPEAKER_01

Excellent. Yeah, no, so you're you're saying, like, hey, there's fire over there by the tower. Get run. Yeah, go do it. Water buckets, go.

SPEAKER_04

Get buckets for water, and the fastest runners to get stuff out before it catches.

SPEAKER_01

Hell yeah, I like it. Okay. So is on the ground reporting on what's going on. We've got uh command center game. Galos is like, Ashword, go, the guy in the chair.

SPEAKER_00

Jenova is maintaining her wild shaped form as an elephant. Oh, she's sucking up water and she's delivering it to the hot spots.

SPEAKER_01

So so I feel like I feel like I feel like Venar's gonna like just still on horseback. She's like, make way for the fire brigade, and everyone's like, the fire brigade.

SPEAKER_06

Yes. That's fantastic.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so I'm sorry, you're getting like a trunk full of water and you're gonna go fight the fire. Yep. Excellent. Okay, so Courtney.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe I can use Hooney as like an over to see if there if she's missing any hot spots, to see if there are any like um things that she's missing.

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely. Uh yeah, that's a great use. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So using my bracer, again, like speaking into it, even though it's 1000% telepathic and I don't have to do that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, uh, Lunette's up uh or Hoonie's up there going, You missed the spot.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. So Lunette into her bracer, she's like, I'm sending Hooney out. If he circles above something, uh that means you need to put more water there. Just looking for hospitals for that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I'm still an elephant. Honestly, I'd say this is your first instance of being like excellently coordinated. I I would I would mainly because we have an elephant. Well, I mean it's like you all you are all using the tools at your disposal and making yourselves all individually useful and and and making sure that like what you're doing helps everyone else. I was like, I think I think it's great. It's very well coordinated.

SPEAKER_06

Yay!

SPEAKER_01

Um I think it's also very effective. So I I think yeah, I think you're getting like max bonus on it.

SPEAKER_02

Exceptional exceptional three.

SPEAKER_01

Exceptional, exceptional.

SPEAKER_02

Is that a plus six?

SPEAKER_01

Uh it's gonna be plus seven. Yeah, effective uh exceptional effectiveness is plus four, ex excellent coordination is plus three. Okay, okay. I'd say this is kind of low risk. I mean, you're basically just trying to keep a fire from getting it. It's not like it's not like someone was setting it.

SPEAKER_02

Because we have people moving items, we have a water brigade, we have a bucket brigade, and we have a hotspot seeker.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So now is now the question is gonna be more of like, do people do this properly or do they give into like panic? Um, let's let's see that d20.

SPEAKER_04

Go for it. You're the last one that begins to roll.

SPEAKER_02

I believe in you. Blow on it, blow on it. Elizabeth, blow on it. No, I've not bicky luck.

SPEAKER_04

But is it 15? 8 plus 7.

SPEAKER_01

Plus 7 is a 15. That is that is still a success.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

It's not a great success, but it is still a success. You move that clock up one more. So you're at three of six.

SPEAKER_00

Uh, we're happy with the.

SPEAKER_01

So at at three segments, the the situation shifts just a little bit. Um, no, that's actually a good thing, because it's three four for you. Um so at this point, like the people of the city are starting to feel a little bit more like, hey, we can do this. Like, it's gonna it's it's bad, but it's gonna be okay. We got this. It is time for the next siege event. A different number. Literally rolled the same number three times. And a fourth time.

SPEAKER_04

I feel like it it it was meant to be.

SPEAKER_01

Right. We've already done that one though. So what I'm hearing is it was the gate, it was the gate. I was gonna say, wait, what's the one? Oh, wait, no, that's right. If it comes up again, it's supposed to be the same thing, but worse. I was wondering. Why would you remind them of that? Well, see, I was thinking it's like it happens again, it's like, well, you've already succeeded, so automatically move the timer. No, it's a it's it's uh it's in my notes here. I forgot about it. But essentially, yeah, if the same result comes up again, that means that it's like the same idea, much less. The situation is a little more accelerated.

SPEAKER_02

We super succeeded and super scared them off.

SPEAKER_01

So what you I'm so proud of you. So what you should do is roll a different one. No, what I should do is is point out that there are now three teams of these coming at the game.

SPEAKER_04

They've pulled more trees.

SPEAKER_01

They have pulled more trees, and the big zombie guys are wearing hats now. It's not a pertinent detail. They just really want to do that.

SPEAKER_04

Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. They in their minds the helmets are gonna protect them from the boiling hot oil.

SPEAKER_04

And but like ph functionally, they functionally it wouldn't, right? But I will point out, we have already restocked this station.

SPEAKER_01

Yep, yeah, because we said our last plane. But now you have to deal with three separate teams. One of them on each side, and then one just haggit, hacking, uh how yeah, pounding on the middle. That would be fucked up. You dump oil on them and they guess wall of fire.

SPEAKER_00

I have one called Flame Strike. Oh no, Wall of Fire. That's the Wall of Fire. I've loved it. Okay, we've got Wall of Fire.

SPEAKER_01

There you go. Or just wall across or everything. Or just put it down the battering ram.

SPEAKER_02

I like that idea very much.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, well that's one. We could do we could do the oil again and then have the wall of fire instead of. Yeah, it's like the with the wall of fire, the oil's just just gonna make it more effective. Yeah. So um, so we've got wall of fire. What else we got going on?

SPEAKER_02

Uh we should have uh Lunette's gonna send word for oil restock again.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Since apparently we might need that.

SPEAKER_01

Like, what are they using all this oil for? Come on.

SPEAKER_05

Life, death, situation, perspective, get some, go! Yeah!

SPEAKER_07

You're being wasteful.

SPEAKER_02

You're wasting all the oil. I can just imagine the net slowly turning, just like whatever.

SPEAKER_05

You can dump half a pot, it's fine. That's good. Cooking oil.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah! Alright, so anyway. So we've got the we got the oil, we've got coordination.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Uh, what are you guys gonna do? Can I go brother? Can I go He's throwing off the angle of our dangle.

SPEAKER_04

Uh uh I mean, after we've been around the whole city now, I would say I'm probably familiar with places that we could get reinforcing or metal and or scrap that can reinforce the doors. You should absolutely. I like to go do that to then fix the damage that has been caused and ideally prevent it once the fire's out.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you could you could absolutely like um like the spindle fields. Um there's a lot of scrap metal around there. Like you could absolutely grab some of that. You know, absolutely, yeah. Yeah, you you you can grab some like steel beams and stuff, you know, basically just like reinforce the door or the gates.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah, I think you should absolutely do that.

SPEAKER_01

That sounds like a great call. So we got wall of fire, we got reinforce with metal. Um lunette, you were you were doing something?

SPEAKER_04

Queer.

SPEAKER_02

Call for more.

SPEAKER_01

Calling for more oil, yes.

SPEAKER_02

Uh doing that, and I'm going to once again, I guess, use my metal arm that still has feeling in it.

SPEAKER_01

Uh yeah, it does.

SPEAKER_02

To make sure the oil pours through. Yeah, misery and fucking woe over here.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, your your arm gets the feeling of hot. It just doesn't hurt super bad. Okay. But you are very much like, oh, that could hurt.

SPEAKER_02

Oh shit. Yeah. Don't do that. Don't want to do that. Okay, and then Venaria?

SPEAKER_01

Venaria. Okay, well my issue is uh wall of fire, we can only do that to one of these three teams.

SPEAKER_06

Are they the other thing?

SPEAKER_00

What is the radius of the wall of fire?

SPEAKER_01

That's what I'm trying to think. Like, I think you might be able to get you let you can get at least two of them with that. Yeah, just just just the one the one team.

SPEAKER_02

I do still have uh the scorcher spell, so I can get that third one.

SPEAKER_01

Agonizer, what's what's the range on it?

SPEAKER_02

30 feet.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, you'll you'll have to be like directly over them, but yeah, you can get it.

SPEAKER_04

So she's uh on the pot of oil, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, she's so I'm gonna use so I'm gonna cover what you can't. You're gonna cast the circular wall. We will be pouring oil, we have more oil coming. You are reinforcing the door, and what are you doing?

SPEAKER_04

Making sure that we actually cover all the teams. I guess.

SPEAKER_01

I mean at the at the very least, yeah, I'm just kind of running from like point to point in this, just making sure that uh there's that like nothing is left. You can do like spotting to make sure like that things are are being aimed properly. I mean, I could always just be throwing javelins and shit. Just be like, I'm helping. Also true, yeah. Because we don't because I mean there's not a guarantee that like these the setup is gonna instantly kill. Exactly, yeah. We're we're trying to mitigate as much as possible. Yeah. Okay, cool. So we've got Scorcher, we've got Wall of Fire, we've got door reinforcement. Door reinforcement, right, with the with the scrap metal, and then we've got um spotting. Spotting. Yes. Okay, cool. So the effect of this of this plan seems like it might be a little questionable. I mean, anytime standard. Anytime you set shit on fire, you never know.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, like they're like Especially now that we're setting bigger shit on fire.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and this and this is like an accelerated version of like what you dealt with before, so there's a little more going on.

SPEAKER_04

But there is familiarity with it, which I think means that it does kind of even out to like standard.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, which which would would give you a plus zero for for the effectiveness, but you're not getting like a negative or anything with that. Um you are still purely coordinated, so I'd I'd say you'd still get that plus two from the coordination. Um the risk, I'm definitely saying at least medium on that. Yeah. If it doesn't work, then that then this coordinate effort means this gate's more likely to fall. Yeah. Actually, I might say high. Yeah. Actually, considering like what well, what might happen if it doesn't work properly. Like the gate can fall now. Yeah, it's like, and then you'd have be having to deal with now there's a big open hole in the wall.

SPEAKER_04

But now all four of us are at the wall.

SPEAKER_01

This is true.

SPEAKER_04

So we can respond to critical dangers.

SPEAKER_01

You you absolutely could. Um okay, so let's see a d20. You're getting plus two on the roll.

SPEAKER_02

That's a 12.

SPEAKER_01

So 14, that's still successful. Just on the outside of it, but you you got it.

SPEAKER_02

Jesus Christ.

SPEAKER_01

We get one more section filled up.

SPEAKER_02

So it's three out of six? We're halfway there?

SPEAKER_01

You are at four out of six. Four out of six. I will say, now, success doesn't necessarily mean safety. I would say because the the gate has been hit pretty significantly a couple of times, like the next time, like there's some up with the gate, like it's it's it's gonna go down. I understand you're reinforcing it. Very good. Next up, we've got the gate falls. The gate fucking falls down.

SPEAKER_04

Another gate.

SPEAKER_01

Kuo Daraj walks up to the walls, and he's got a line of like heavily armored, like full-on centurion um zombos with him. So, the immediate problem is you need to disrupt this line because Daraj looks like he's about to start wailing on the wall, and from what you've seen, he could probably just cut through it.

SPEAKER_04

How tall is the wall again?

SPEAKER_01

The walls are 20 feet tall.

SPEAKER_04

And how far away are they from the wall?

SPEAKER_01

They are approaching currently, like, by the time like you're seeing the siege event, they are 30 feet.

SPEAKER_04

From the wall?

SPEAKER_01

From the wall, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Question. How does the range on spells work through walls?

SPEAKER_01

Well, you can't see through the wall, but basically, as like you if you're if you get up on top of the walls and the range is greater than 20 feet, you know, you you can get them if they're like at the base of the wall, but it kind of depends on what you're doing. Might have to like bust out the Pythagorean's theorem on this. Yeah, I'm like, we we can totally geometry this out if you need to.

SPEAKER_04

No, it's okay. They need to be they need to be 10 feet or less. Well, I can't hit something that's 30 feet away from the walls, but I could probably hit something that's 15 feet away from the walls. I have Turn Undead. And I don't know how what their wisdom is. But ideally. And if getting getting one or two of them would break the line.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I was gonna say if if we're if the goal is to disrupt the line, then that's I feel like that's a good thing. Yeah, so like what so what what's the range on Turn Undead at 30 feet? Okay, so yeah, if you were like standing on the walls holding up your your cleric holy symbol. I mean, at the very least, it's gonna have some kind of effect on it. Like the the clock system here means that we kind of fudge things. You're right, you're right. You know, it's like more theater of the mind, but um, that could absolutely be a part of it.

SPEAKER_04

But I could, considering the fact that I'm running from the threshold gate through the center, I could kind of gather clerics on the way.

SPEAKER_01

That yeah, that could be it.

SPEAKER_04

You could do like a wall of clerics.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, like the cleric unit shows up. I like that. That could work totally.

SPEAKER_04

Because then that that would give us a bit more oomph.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean they, you know, they they look like they are probably higher level undead, but you know, with enough cleric probably at least you know. I mean, at some point, even if they can't, even if you're not getting that the the destroy undead effect, even if you're doing like just law of large numbers, like the more saving throws. They're making, the more likely it is that someone will be.

SPEAKER_04

And like it doesn't really matter how high level you are if you fail with the same thing. So yeah, uh Dalos will just like those clerics that you said were running around on the walls trying to make sure that everything was put together, helping out and everything. Uh Dalos will like like full on like to me, like let's go to all to try and to me my amen. Um which will make them run for a minute. And sounds good.

SPEAKER_01

I like it. Okay, so we've got we've got Dalos rallying the clerics on the wall.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Uh I'm gonna use Hooney again to keep an to like scope out what that line of unbled. Oh, wait. Hang on, hang on. It's like wait. Hang on, wait. Not yet. Not close enough. Not close. No! Hold on.

SPEAKER_07

Hold you fools!

SPEAKER_02

What Lunette's gonna do is she is going to through her bracer again. She's telling uh Day she's telling Delos that she's gonna have Hooney flying around and wait until he does like a really sharp swoop. And that's when he is when you guys are in range for maximum efficiency. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

There you go.

SPEAKER_02

Wait till he does a barrel roll. Wait till his little fat ass does a barrel roll.

SPEAKER_01

Spins in midair, and that's it.

SPEAKER_00

Uh Genova is going to cast uh Ice Storm. Oh. And that will make it a difficult terrain on top of.

SPEAKER_01

So uh you are casting Ice Storm. Dalos is rallying the clerics. You are coordinating like I'm coordinating the strike. Yep. Okay. And Brandon. I'm just at the back, like I'm the one who hits the fuckers.

SPEAKER_02

Like just throne smites.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_02

Can I throw a smite?

SPEAKER_01

I mean, if you wanted to try and smite, like that's that's what I'm saying. Like a lot of this is out-of-the-box thinking. So if you want to try and smite with what, like a javelin? Yeah. You could aim for what's the truck.

SPEAKER_02

You could aim for what's his truck? What's his face? Kuo.

SPEAKER_01

The honorific for death knights and Dotaj.

SPEAKER_04

They're trying to run until they fall prone, and so it's more likely to smite the fuck out of them. Right.

SPEAKER_01

Smite one of them right in the ass. Yeah, I'm just waiting for one of them to fall. Since we're trying to do turn and dead, I was gonna try to like Raffle Smite the main guy. Okay. Because that'd be hilarious. I just feel like that'd be hilarious that like the rest of the line collapses and then big dude. There you go. Um, but I think just either way, as long as as long as he gets to hit him. Yeah, because basically you just need to stop him from running up on the walls. So even just distracting him for a minute would be helpful. Okay, I'm gonna do Thunderous Mite just because it all it pushes him back physically. So that way if he grills. He's gonna probably beat that the saving throw, but yeah. I mean, we're we're not doing saving throws right now, so I mean it'll just it'll be.

SPEAKER_03

So so what is our modifier?

SPEAKER_01

Um okay, so Brandon getting in on like the full plan, I think that that'll kind of bring it up. Um you'll have strong for that. I do think this is pretty effective. Um, not like exceptional, but I still say strong all around. So I'd say that plus four, yeah. None of you are really getting down in there. If you don't take care of this, he's gonna start smacking the wall, and that's a big problem. So I'd say at least medium risk. That sound reasonable? Yep. Okay. So total.

SPEAKER_04

I rolled a three. This is hell. I didn't even roll all that much. Here, wait, here, wait, here, here. Actually, what are you talking about? It's a 15.

SPEAKER_01

No, it's as as Dalos is realizing how badly it failed, he's like, it was, it was, it was going so well. No, um so that is that is mixed. Um I'd still say that they're they're gonna get a bar fill out of this. Um as okay, so we've got to remember all of the things that are happening.

SPEAKER_04

It's like one or two on the very edge break rank, but like every every other one just like is too lockstepped.

SPEAKER_01

Like the the ice storm, like you you're a little off-center with it, so like it only really catches a couple of them, and it's and it's not as effective as it could have been. Hooney is flying around and gets distracted by a bug.

SPEAKER_05

Hooney, no!

SPEAKER_01

So like forgets to do the barrel roll until like just after he was actually on the bottom.

SPEAKER_02

Literally, Lunette's just like, Hooney, you fat fuck. Fat fucking rabbit. I'm sorry, guys.

SPEAKER_04

My dice hate me today. Normally it's so bad.

SPEAKER_01

Hey, the dice are just making sure we're not, you know, just going like boom-boom boom you win. But I want to bo unfortunately, the the city suffers just a small setback as Huodaraj does manage to get to the walls and gives it a good real real hard chop with his with his this two two cleavers.

SPEAKER_04

Now we can see through the wall.

SPEAKER_01

There is a small hole in the wall, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yay! So what I'm hearing is is now 30 feet can be straight out from the wall.

SPEAKER_01

From that particular part of the wall, yeah. You can just look out and see. It just jumps down and just starts guiding bolts. Like, nah! It was still pretty good though. Yeah. I I like the back and forth here. Um very cool.

SPEAKER_03

What's the next event?

SPEAKER_01

That is not the same.

SPEAKER_04

Thank god. Are you rolling a different are you rolling the the evil eye dice? No. Why not?

SPEAKER_01

Because I forgot.

SPEAKER_04

Because he hates us.

SPEAKER_01

But it is a different number.

SPEAKER_04

I'm glad.

SPEAKER_01

So this one.

SPEAKER_05

They just can't get their shit together. I mean, I'm telling you.

SPEAKER_01

I feel like if we rolled it again, like Venaria and and Juno would just be like, we're gonna be the runners. I got my horse, you can turn into an elk, we'll just do this job for the foreseeable future. This this actually nicely ties into what just happened.

SPEAKER_02

Uh hell.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so the hole in the wall from what just happened is making this area harder to defend. So you need to either come up with a way to reinforce that gap, move defenders back to a better position, or destroy like like like use like rubble or something to to clear it, like close the hole.

SPEAKER_02

Here's my thought. If we can pile rubble up against that hole in the wall, and then I drop wall of sand on it, it automatically becomes more of a bitch to move.

SPEAKER_01

Does the sand hang out after you drop concentration on the spell?

SPEAKER_02

Alex, does the sand hang out? I don't I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

I'm not familiar with the spell. Uh because it'll usually tell you is-but it doesn't say it disappears.

SPEAKER_04

Yep, it doesn't.

SPEAKER_01

It doesn't say it disappears, and I would say it stays there.

SPEAKER_04

You conjure up a wall of swirling sand. And that's why I love you. At a point you can see within range, you can make it up to 30.

SPEAKER_02

It is locked into the can and Alex says it sticks around.

SPEAKER_01

Uh I said that with my mouth hole.

SPEAKER_02

Yep, it's can and it's on the recording.

SPEAKER_04

Uh it adds so it makes it really difficult to rain. Instead of like have your movement speed, it takes uh three feet instead of four feet.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, because it's like shifting sands.

SPEAKER_04

Yep, and it and you're blind.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

So it's double. Wait, so what is it?

SPEAKER_01

Wait, hold on. What's happening? Why are you why are we blind?

SPEAKER_04

No, no, no. If you're in the sand. No, my thought it blocks line of sight, but it doesn't block movement, but it's blinded while in the wall space and must.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, it's a wall of sand. Yes. Okay, I get it. Yes, that makes sense. I thought we were just like summoning sand. I'm like, so why is it blinding? Alright, cool.

SPEAKER_02

So my idea is that we barricade. I cast wall of sand, and I would think that at since it is really difficult to rain, it would be difficult to like uh to unbarricade.

SPEAKER_06

Right, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So, um you should organize, you Dalos should organize the same reinforcements that I got for the tower or the game. Do that. See if you can get some of those clerics that are still hanging around to mend those pieces to the wall itself. And then uh I will cast wall of sand. What do you two want to do, Jenova and I can help with the reinforcing?

SPEAKER_04

Like the physical, like putting the blocks back up to hold them for the clerics to attach them.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

We're essentially spot welding it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we're basically just casting undo on the ship that the dead that I just did.

SPEAKER_04

And what you can do is you can go to the top of the wall and technically cast it right in front of the wall, which would allow the sand to pile up on that side without causing it to be inside the city, too. So then it's more of an inconvenience for them. Okay. There you go. And then it's just like, yeah. Okay, and it would be far out.

SPEAKER_02

Then that's what I'll do. Uh it will make the barricade harder to move. It will make the really difficult terrain for the enemy. Uh, do you are you able to do the help action whilst moving rubble around? Uh like for the room.

SPEAKER_01

What would the help action be for what?

SPEAKER_02

Help like helping the clerics who are trying to reinforce.

SPEAKER_01

They don't they don't they don't make a roll if they're just casting. Mending is just do it.

SPEAKER_04

Because considering the fact that you have a wildfire spirit at your leisure, you can like literally what can't be mended, weld together. And like melt the rock with the cell together. As like a filler.

SPEAKER_02

You just gotta pick up Fritter and ha and like just hold him like a welding.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, just shake him a little bit and then the guy that like reloads his cave.

SPEAKER_00

Which sends out three rays.

SPEAKER_01

Could also do that.

SPEAKER_00

Along with Fritter.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so if like if you do it with Fritter, it won't cost you a spell slot. Oh, this is true. Because he can just throw his little flames for free. Yeah. He just does fire.

SPEAKER_02

Flames for free, that's a band name.

SPEAKER_01

Fritter is fire.

SPEAKER_02

Pretty sure.

SPEAKER_01

Fritter is fire. He's pretty fire.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, so Delos using the experience from the threshold gate finds the people who move shit the best.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Takes them, talks to the cleric, sends them to Venaria and Jen.

SPEAKER_01

Excellent.

SPEAKER_04

Lunette goes to the top of the wall, and once stuff is close enough that the sand won't like blow through, starts a wall up above it so that it fills in the gaps that they can't mend. It's totally the moment. It just is covered the rest of the way. Yes. Reinforcing the shit out of this.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so we've got uh fritter in Genova, spot welding, we've got holding up rocks and getting stuff put up and wall of sand, and then I forgot.

SPEAKER_04

Uh actually like getting any extra material like that we can't like if we can't fit stuff back on. It was too crumbled, too small, can't be cheaper. Getting more and using the people that we've already.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Yeah. Okay, cool. Uh coordination. I I I think that sounds like excellent coordination. It's your turn.

SPEAKER_02

It's my turn to roll.

SPEAKER_01

And I actually think this is a very effective plan because you're basically like, no, fuck that hole, and you're just plugging it.

SPEAKER_02

That's what she said, ladies and gentlemen. We got him. That's what they said. Thank you very much. We got him.

SPEAKER_01

But yeah. Go ahead. Go and see that D20 with a plus seven.

SPEAKER_02

With a plus seven!

SPEAKER_01

He also sleep with the low up.

SPEAKER_02

What was it? What was it? Is that 10?

SPEAKER_01

Is it 17 total? Heck yeah. That is a that is a success. So you're uh five out of six filled up for breaking the siege. At five segments, uh the the situation kind of escalates again like it did at three segments. The the city, despite a couple of setbacks, they're they're like, we've got we're gonna we're gonna win. We're gonna win. Fuck these guys.

SPEAKER_04

We got a four-point lead, guys. Yeah. We just gotta make it through the gifts of the game. So this is this is soccer. We have a four-point lead. Like we they there is very little world.

SPEAKER_01

Four-point lead in soccer is just like bullshit terrorists. Yes. So um, okay, yeah, so the next result is likely going to be the decisive thing. And it's gonna be the rehash of the death knight. And it's next. We lose four. The messenger is hop running. Okay. I'm gonna remember to use the the evil eye. Evil eye die.

SPEAKER_03

Evil eye die. Is it what is it? Is it the gate again?

SPEAKER_04

Is it the gate again? We gotta look up the number. Is it one it's one you've seen before? It is. It's it's the stupid fucking runners. Hey, we're at the end of the siege, we all just manually remain. It is the runners. It's the runners.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so this so the r so we found the runners and they're all zombies. Okay, so I'm going I'm going to change this one up a little bit. What I'm going to do is a runner that had an extremely vital piece of information.

SPEAKER_04

It's gone missing.

SPEAKER_01

Just miss is missing. And this is like if this message doesn't get to the right person, like the wall, the gate's gonna come down.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

So you either fix this or bad shit happens.

SPEAKER_02

So we know where the person must have come from because they must have come from the dispatch. Like we know where they came from, right?

SPEAKER_01

You know that they left the dispatch. Okay. And then they just disappeared.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, that's fine. We know where it's supposed to go. Is it going to Bastion? Well no, here's the thing.

SPEAKER_02

Here's the thing. Here's the thing, right? Right? I'll give a fuck about that runner guy right now. Fuck that guy.

SPEAKER_04

Well, no, what I'm saying is whoever's the fastest goes straight to Bastion.

SPEAKER_06

I'm going to Bastion.

SPEAKER_04

The other one goes to the distribution center and finds the message, and we manually run.

SPEAKER_01

Well, no, we or we just go through the bracers.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm talking about. No, no, no, that's literally what I'm talking about.

SPEAKER_01

So the message, just to clear up like how what's what's going on, the message was coming from Haven Watch Tower.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, where we are.

SPEAKER_01

Over over there on the east side, where by where that hole in the wall just was.

SPEAKER_02

Which we where we are.

SPEAKER_01

Um, I would say something about that disrupted a communication coming from Havenwatch to the central distribution.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, that's fine. So that's how it's oriented. We are in Haven Watch. So what we do is we create a network. One of us stays in Haven Watch, finds out what the message was that needed to be communicated, then goes one of us goes to the Discfast Center, so there's multiple runners that all know this information now. And then one of us goes straight to Bastion as a fail-safe. They are there. We guarantee the message gets there. And we and then we have duplicates.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Just we're we have it in triplicate. So that we don't have to worry about it. All the best legal documents.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we just we just fan out over the whole city and we're like, it's gonna get there. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

So uh I am I don't think I'm the I don't think I'm the fastest, but I'm definitely not the slowest. Uh don't point at me.

SPEAKER_07

I don't appreciate what you're implying.

SPEAKER_04

I will point out I think I'm the same speed as you.

SPEAKER_02

I'm just saying you would think that like an outlander, an outlander rogue would be a little bit faster than a 300-pound machine. It's fine. You sound so fine. You sound so fine with that.

SPEAKER_04

I just don't like what you're implying.

SPEAKER_02

You're being fake. No, I think mechanically though, we are the same speed. I think you're being incredibly fake right now, and I don't fucking appreciate it. Um but I think Jenova can have has the ability to be a lot faster. Yeah. Jenova has the ability to be a lot faster, so I think she should go to dispatch. Uh, do you want to stay with the clerics to organize?

SPEAKER_04

I I was thinking whoever is the most engraved at Haven Watch, basically. I think Dalos is more recognizable, and that would make it easier for him to get people's attention. Like you come over here, I I've already worked with you, you saw me up there doing this thing.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

It's very easy to pick Dalos out in a crowd, and so I think he would be recognizable enough to be able to find the person who has the fucking information.

SPEAKER_02

So you do that. You are gonna go to dispatch Genova, you are gonna go to the tower.

SPEAKER_01

Uh okay, just to clarify, this is a message that was meant for the Bastion. This was a message from Haven Watch that I I originally said it was meant for the central distribution, but I I do think it needs to go to Bastion because that's like where the city guard barracks is and like like the control of the defense.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. So you go so you, Venaria, are gonna go to the uh Bastion. I'm gonna have Hooney stay and fly above where Dalos is working, so that way even because the bracers haven't failed yet. But uh triplicate. Triplicate. I'm gonna have Hooney watching, especially on the outside of the wall. He's just gonna kind of be like circling around, keeping an eye on the barricade, keeping an eye on the outside. We have you, we have Delos organizing the clerics and the barricade team. We have Genova going to Central Dispatch, and we have uh Venaria going to Bastion. I need to go somewhere. Where am I going? Cause I I was cause you mentioned we all us all of us doing something in I4 Gore. I was trying to keep track of all of these moving pieces in I4 Gore.

SPEAKER_01

My my short-term memory.

SPEAKER_02

It's past my bedtime.

SPEAKER_04

Um I mean, if anything, you can go through the lantern hall, which would allow for the lanterns. There's our triplet. Or one, straight with Venaria, two Bastion. Two, having all of the runners know this information that we can possibly have. Three, go through the lanterns to share the information, even if it's in like more vague terms. Have the people who are supposed to talk over the big channels talk over the big channels. Right. And then that would allow us all to uh like the answer there.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. So I do like this plan. The wrench that I'm going to throw into it, just kind of raise the stakes. This is, you know, possibly the last thing. Um the the guy at Haven Watch is a real stickler for procedure. And he wants and he wants to speak in code.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Because we're relaying a very important message to command, right? So he's going to say things to you that don't make a lot of sense if you just hear it. And you have to pass this message along a chain. So you're playing the phone like the with like that. What's the pre game?

SPEAKER_04

Well, the point is we are eliminating the telephone. Yes. We are our bracers are a direct line. No, absolutely.

SPEAKER_02

Start of telephone to end of telephone. I know thieves can't, which is already a nonsense language meant to not make sense.

SPEAKER_01

That's I'm so happy for you. You are still relaying information through several nodes. So comprehension is a factor. So there's still a bit of a chance for that to be an issue. I I would say this is fairly effective. I'd say it's strong. Um, I'd say the coordination, just because again, you're you're depending on several nodes to transmit a message, is just going to be impacted. So I'd say it's functional. It will do the job if it works properly. So that's still a plus one. So you're gonna get a plus three on that. I will say the risk on this is high. Yeah, for down to the wire. So it's like this either works or something fucks up majorly.

unknown

Right?

SPEAKER_01

Okay. So let's see that d20. Unless you want me to roll it. Go and roll it up on the table. Oh yeah, like it up on the table. Dum d-dum dum d-dum.

SPEAKER_06

That's a nat one.

SPEAKER_02

Is it really?

SPEAKER_05

That's a nat one.

SPEAKER_02

I'm gonna go throw up.

SPEAKER_05

That's a nat fucking one.

SPEAKER_04

You lied. What? That is that is the seven. The red is the one. That it was a seven. That is a seven!

SPEAKER_07

Okay, well, from my perspective, it looked like a one. Excuse me!

SPEAKER_01

We live to suck another dick.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, it would have been kind of cool though. So we're back down.

SPEAKER_01

So the the result would have been a mixed stalemate, but because it was high risk, I'm saying they're still going to get two bars.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, so now we're at we have two and they're.

SPEAKER_01

So, yeah, they they have two, you have one.

SPEAKER_04

Or other to get two. Oh, fuck me. Okay. Okay.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

I picked it up and I was like, wait a second.

SPEAKER_01

Sorry, no, I looked at that and I swear to god, it looked like a Nat 1. I was like, that is beautiful.

SPEAKER_04

That literally happened to Jen earlier where it it looks the red is the one though. The red is the one. Every time. The red is the one.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, good.

SPEAKER_04

Thank God. I'm about I I'm gonna fucking throw up my tummy.

SPEAKER_01

Clawing it back from the gates of terrorists. Okay. So the walls don't blow up necessarily. Okay, yeah, so the walls don't blow up.

SPEAKER_04

It it it hits close enough that it it our our repair are.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so yeah, basically the message did get there. It got there just a little bit late. So the way they address it was like they they basically like they were bringing a bomb to the wall.

SPEAKER_04

And they exploded it 20 feet out rather than five.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, it exploded like next to the wall, like not directly on it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So good, good, good. Sorry, sorry. No, that's great. That's those are the stakes. I love it. That's drama. That was nice role playing. So we're number nine. Love it. That's my sh that's my shit. I love it. I feel like I should have brought one of my gigantic dice, so it's actually it's actually like you can read it from 10 feet away. Absolutely. Like these would be the events for the giant die. Yeah. Yeah, the the bomb goes off next to the wall. It is severely weakened. There is not a big hole in the wall, but like one more hit on that part of the wall, it's coming down.

SPEAKER_02

I choose to believe it's because of my sand.

SPEAKER_01

I was gonna say, and then there's somebody on pavement which who looks at, and there's like 15 more bombs. Yeah, they're like, oh look, that's they're loading them into catapults. Okay. Yeah. So, next siege event.

SPEAKER_04

Was that another four? Our dice hate us.

SPEAKER_01

Your dice are wanting to tell a very dramatic story. That would be the time for the Nat 20 of the evening.

SPEAKER_04

That's why I think Alex should roll the next one. Oh no, this is a good one. Oh, okay. You hate us.

SPEAKER_01

No, it's the one where he comes up to the wall again. Yeah!

SPEAKER_04

Wait, oh, but it's worse this time. But it's worse this time.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So he just kicks in it falls. Yeah, this this time he he walks up. There's Kudaraj, there's a bunch of of death knights, remnants with him, and then there's like one like giant who's who's picked up the guy with the bomb and is like like have to get back to throw it at the wall.

SPEAKER_02

Just gonna throw the whole dude? He didn't sign up for that. Damn.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah, this is going to be automatically because of the stake. I'm going to say the risk is just going to be desperate from here on out. Yeah. Well, yeah, because of how close we've gotten. So yeah. What that's going to mean is that you're going to get plus two to your rolls automatically just from that, but there's going to be major consequences on 13 or less.

SPEAKER_06

Can I banish him?

SPEAKER_01

What's the range on it?

SPEAKER_04

It's just a solid amount.

SPEAKER_02

If it's the same energy as I cast geese. And she can see the thing.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, technically you can. Yeah. What is it? It's a wisdom save?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I thought we weren't counting with it.

SPEAKER_01

I thought we weren't doing that because I'm just I'm just like getting like the the the stats in mind.

SPEAKER_04

It's charisma, so it's not even wisdom. It's a charisma.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, and what would we be targeting? Because like if we target the giant, is it does it take everything he's holding? If not, do we target the dude that he's holding that's holding the bomb? Like, what's the wording on the targeting for banishment?

SPEAKER_04

You attempt to send one creature that you can see within rings.

SPEAKER_01

That's just the giant. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

But you could banish, you could banish.

SPEAKER_01

You can banish the giant, but the guy with the bomb is still gonna be there.

SPEAKER_04

That wasn't what I was talking about with the bind. I wasn't planning on banishing him. I was planning on banishing leadership.

SPEAKER_01

We're banish KO what's this fucking? So you're gonna banish Kuodaraj for a minute.

SPEAKER_04

Well the whole well that's the The banishment lasts for a minute. I know, I know, I know. I know. Give me a second. Let her come back. I'm listening. I'm listening. Give me a second. Go for it. Give me a second. Okay. Okay. So one. According to the lantern charter. Oh Lord. The priority in situations like this is to take out leadership, not the other. Would you quote the lantern charter to me?

SPEAKER_01

I was there when it was written.

SPEAKER_04

So taking out the leadership would in theory confuse enough to allow someone else to detonate the bomb far enough from the wall.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, that's a good point though.

SPEAKER_04

And then if the bomb is detonated far enough away, if anything, it could cause a chain reaction for the f or like further bombs. But all we he's just he needs to be gone. Well, or even even if it doesn't, even all even if it's- And it's from 60 feet away, so especially if I can see him through the wall, that's far enough away that it probably wouldn't cause that much damage. Even to the already damaged walls. Holy shit.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Secondary secondary suggestion for banish.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

If if if okay. It is being the giant is carrying a dude who is carrying a bomb.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I assume like giant height.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Oh, if it falls.

SPEAKER_01

If it falls. If you banish the giant.

SPEAKER_04

How how tall is the giant? How tall are giants?

SPEAKER_01

What kind of giant is it? We'll say this is like equivalent to like a hill giant, so they're huge. Okay. So they're like 20 and 20, 20 to 30 feet tall.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. So if he's holding it on his shoulders, he's probably 30 feet up.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. He's basically like like reeling back like he's about to throw a baseball. Okay, so it's act it's up and back. Okay. Yeah. So that would also work. So yeah, banish the giant, bomb drops. Yeah, see, that's why I thought you were doing that, because I was like, well, okay, that that will that will do it. At the same time, though, if it doesn't work, he's just gonna throw it.

SPEAKER_04

Exactly. But having leadership suddenly, because that's the whole thing with the undead, is that they aren't exactly super mindful without leadership.

SPEAKER_01

I yeah, I I could I would say yeah, that would mean that could be pretty effective, but at the same time, though, either either option here, if it doesn't work, they're just gonna throw the ball. I was gonna say we're already operating as if it doesn't work, we're fucked.

SPEAKER_04

And also what I'm saying is we we don't necessarily have to operate just on the confusion. If he just like pauses for the shortest moment, that means we now have a target that is relatively stationary because he's no longer in the act of being like throw it, throw it, throw it, throw it, throw it, throw it, throw it, throw it, throw it. Um and so we have a lot of people who can all do ranged combat. And I'm assuming this bomb is meant to explode.

SPEAKER_01

So it's just cemented down. You're you're going to try and banish Kuodaraj.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, in an attempt to stun the legions, basically.

SPEAKER_01

Right, yeah, because yeah, if they don't have their leadership, then it disrupts their hive mind shit. Well, and I'm also a fan of uh doing another round of ice storm. Mm-hmm. Because again, that would stop them. Even if the only one you can slow down is the giant, he's the one to slow down. Yeah, I mean, like trying to get leverage to throw when you're standing on ice makes it a lot harder, yeah. So could be another fun thing of him slipping and dropping the bomb. Right? Yeah, he would he would basically slip, fall, and spike the bomb directly in front of him.

SPEAKER_04

So half of you, so one of one of you, because you could make the terrain worse, and then one of you can direct them to shoot the bomb, or the guy holding the bomb, and the other can direct them to shoot the legs of the giant to make him fall. So together we have like a a 50% chance.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, well I do have a question. Together we are five in our laser. Since we've been working with this this brigade of clerics, yeah. Do you want assistance in trying to banish clerics?

SPEAKER_04

I mean 100%, if possible.

SPEAKER_01

To me, my amen. That's what I was saying. So that could be another thing that's that's happening. You're well. That was and since again, since since we're playing with the rules, ordinarily this would not like regular combat, this would not be a thing. But if you could essentially have him tr making like 15 charisma saves all the ones, all of them. Just our powers combined. Get the fuck out.

SPEAKER_04

Go the fuck away for a minute.

SPEAKER_00

I was too, but um, but I was kind of smiling at the thought of if it was possible casting geos on the bomb holder, the zombie bomb holder, and having him run off with it. What's the range on it? That shit down.

SPEAKER_01

No, no, no, no, put it down back there.

SPEAKER_04

Throw it at the other bombs.

SPEAKER_02

Could you imagine ice cast geese? Put that motherfucker down.

SPEAKER_01

60 foot range.

SPEAKER_04

You absolutely foot together with our powers combined. I've been saving this fourth level spell slot for this.

SPEAKER_01

So Okay, now that does that does have a save. Like, we're not gonna roll for the save, but that will increase the risk.

SPEAKER_04

Is it charisma or wisdom? Uh oh no, the risk is already desperate, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So fuck it. Whatever. It's a wisdom save. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

So but we're diversifying our risks. Yes. Yes. Our our our saves. So that means that if anything, we're more coordinated.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you were making the plan more effective.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

By by addressing more vectors. Yes. Okay, that is a question. Do you want do we want to cast geese on the giant? To basically be like, throw that.

SPEAKER_02

Turn around, throw the other way. What if you were to just tell it turn around and throw?

SPEAKER_01

Keep it simple.

SPEAKER_02

Turn around, throw. Turn around, throw. Face backwards, throw.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, because I mean I think that's the only thing with geese. It just needs to be a like a an accomplishable goal. Yeah. Right?

SPEAKER_04

Turn around and throw it to your friends behind you. It's a course of action. You can't you can't ask them to hurt themselves, though. You can't do anything.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, go like squeeze.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Um, okay, just to as it to add on. Okay, so Binari is basically directing fire based on what happens. If we're able to banish the Death Knight, then hit the Legionnaires. Um or shoot at the the knees of the hill giant.

SPEAKER_04

Make him drop it. Oh fuck!

SPEAKER_01

I've got arthritis. It's like archers, kneecap.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, but until he took an arrow to the knee. That was for you, baby girl.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, so uh then what's Lunette doing?

SPEAKER_02

I was going to assist in shooting at the bomb with either acid arrow or my crossbow. That was my original plan.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah. The bomb going off like in their face is still works.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Uh I just wanted to is there something else that I could do that was more comprehensive that might convince our our uh cruel but fair god to be a little gentle with us.

SPEAKER_04

Well currently we have the city guards uh, you know, either attacking the giant himself, the legionnaires themselves, or the legs of the giant. Then we have you trying to get the giant to throw it away. We have the clerics trying to get rid of the death knight for just a period of time to pause, essentially pause the siege. And okay. Um what I would think is they would probably need a way to communicate all the way down the walls. Okay, because you say if this is worse, it's no longer five Legionnaires. It's almost his whole thing.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like he's he's bought like brought um, let's call it a century with him.

SPEAKER_04

And having and considering, you know, being legionnaires and stuff, their defenses will be significantly better, especially against ranged attacks. And so having someone who can actually point out weaknesses to the guards that you aren't currently commanding, because you have a little battalion dealing with the giant, you would have to try and deal with the rest of the legionnaires in case the giant uh fails. I can do that. Yeah, and I I think that that would allow for like a further spread out of communication of hey, don't aim for directly down there. They have shields. Go to the sides.

SPEAKER_01

Hey, these legionnaires are acting like legionnaires, they're not acting like just a zombie.

SPEAKER_02

Then that's what I'll do, and I will also, while the guy is gone, if the legionnaires like break rank or break out of like that lock step shield formation, I'm going to in I'm gonna be like, and no go! They're making they're being stupid, go. In preparation for this, Lunette is going to uh like her the fingers on her metal hand, they just kind of naturally come to like points. She is going to wrap her arm in shadow blade just as preparation for shit to get messy.

SPEAKER_04

Like the instant one of them shows weakness, there is a shadow blade in the head. Like she's preparing.

SPEAKER_01

Uh so to make sure that I understand this, we're doing banishment, then give me a chance.

SPEAKER_04

To take out leadership according to the lantern charter.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Then to take out the most prevalent threat, also according to the lantern charter.

SPEAKER_02

And then Lunette is going to take advantage of the confusion by the disappearance of their leadership. Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_04

And make sure that the to crumble ranks, to take out high-ranking legionnaires that can cause damage to themselves.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so basically, like we're gonna see either if either of those work, and then the other two are kind of doing like like address the rest of those rows. Okay, I gotcha.

SPEAKER_04

So it's get rid of him, get rid of the giant. If those don't work, get rid of the giant and make him fall, which ideally would blow up the bomb, which would make the legionnaires fall out. Or start picking off the legionnaires, because one legionnaire falls, their formation breaks. So we layers. Like an army.

SPEAKER_01

I love it. That's what I'm looking for.

SPEAKER_04

Um and at this point, we have some rapport with this section, because we've done a lot of work over here.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so I would say effectiveness. The only reason I say standard on this is because there's a lot, like all of the parts together would be like are very effective. But there's a lot of things that like if this doesn't happen, then there's a hole in the plan, right? You are coordinating excellently. Okay. Like, like you are working so hard to cover as many many possible avenues for this to go wrong as possible. So yeah, you're still you're still gonna get excellent coordination. I'm I'm gonna hold my guns on the on the standard, but you are coordinating awesomely. I I I think what you were doing there is awesome. So I I still think you're gonna get that plus three from coordination. You're also getting plus two from the desperate action. Okay, so you're getting plus five, um, but we are you know automatically at desperate risk, and anything 13 or less is going to have major consequences. So we need so we okay, but we we said that there's like major horrible shit below 13. So we need to roll, we need to have 13. Okay, so we need to have 13 total or higher.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

13 or less major consequences. You need 14.

SPEAKER_04

We need 9 or 100 or better.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. So, y'all asked me to roll. Are you ready? No. No. This this could be it. This could be it. Let's bounce right out. Is that a nap 20? Fucking nat 20!

SPEAKER_04

Yay! Hell yes. Yeah, baby! I go loudly from around the mic. Natural 20. I picked up on all of your mics.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god. I am so happy they rolled a 20 for them. That is so awesome. We should have taken a picture. Okay. We should have taken a picture.

SPEAKER_04

We banished the death knight. We destroyed the legionnaires.

SPEAKER_01

Y'all, y'all, y'all let me cook. Y'all let me cook. I got this. Okay. So. Oh, you were you were you were two segments away from the city breaking. This is that that's the good, good back and forth. Hell yeah. Okay, so the way this happens. The name of our merch store, the good, good back and forth. Hell yeah. So, you you all. Oh my goodness, this is like so many cool things happen all at the same time. So, um the the cleric battalion, uh, those who know how to who do do the banishment, they all gather together and there's this blinding light as they manage just barely to cause Kuodaraj to disappear. For just a moment. But it's long enough, the entire army shudders and stops. Yes. Just long enough for for the city to counterattack.

SPEAKER_03

The turn on dead, they start running. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

The turn on dead goes off. And then you've got the geese. Geish geish on the hill giant. Who pauses for a second, goes, huh. Turns around and hurls that bomb, like I said, like a baseball, directly at where they've got a store of these bombs. And they go off like fireworks and spread all over the army. Making craters and throwing legionnaires everywhere. The chain reaction decimates like 80% of his army. As they were made, they were just standing in ranks, and these bombs just shower on them. So you have broken his army. He is not leaving.

SPEAKER_06

Yay.

SPEAKER_01

But this does mean that you all can engage him. Yes. Without worrying about his army. Next time at the go-go table. If you haven't yet, please consider following the show or leaving us a review.
